It's where the launcher stores the Java Runtime Environment. You wont notice anything by deleting it as it will just regenerate when you next launch. Somehow this folder has become corrupted so deleting it and letting it regenerate should resolve your issue.

It only seems to have a 1.20.6 and 1.20.5 version. So make sure you have the correct version installed relevant to the one you are launching. Make sure you also have any dependencies installed that this mod may require to run.

I don't believe there is a certain solution. Normally it just stops happening at some point but I've tried everything I can offer to you. You could try a complete uninstall and re-install which would consist of you deleting all folders with feather in the name, then re-installing the launcher. I can't guarantee that'll help however.
