Probably a network issue. You can try:

• Enabling a VPN to help resolve any connection issues you may be having
• Disabling any Firewalls or Antiviruses that may be interfering with Feather's connection

I'm going to ask that you completely re-install Feather as from what you've been saying you may have messed with some files you shouldn't have.

• Uninstall Feather Client via Control Panel.
• Go to C:\Program Files and make sure "Feather Launcher" is deleted.
• Go to appdata -> .minecraft and delete every single folder with "Feather" on it's name.
• Empty your "mods" folder either by deleting it or renaming it to any random name.
• Go to appdata and delete .feather
