On installation, there will be a fabric window that pops up. It should say "Minecraft Version: 1.21.4"
'1.21.4' is a drop down and upon clicking it will have all different versions of Minecraft from 1.14.1 to the latest snapshot. Try clicking on 1.20.1 and download that version of fabric
