You need to use a Mac compatible Minecraft launcher such as prism launcher for example, then you need to add feather standalone which is a mod. If you are used to adding mods this should be easy but if you need more help let me know. I cannot guarantee that it will work but I help you understand most issues that you may face!

this started around 3 days ago on the first day my mc freezed and never responded around 2 times but now it happens more and more, i have not added any mods for the past month and now literally ever 3 minutes my minecraft freezes and i have to restart it just for it to freeze again
