Hello!
With the Feather x Medal collab, if you have already chosen a cosmetic, whether it is an old one or not, you CANNOT change it to a newer one.
The reason that they changed was that Medal only allowed 4 cosmetics to be shown at a time, so they had to rotate in order to show all of them.

I actually had the same problem, went by almost 2 weeks without any actual permenant fix whatsoever. All you have to do is install java from their website, restart your computer maybe, and it fixes itself.

3. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Mojang wouldn't backtrack on annihilating any kind of player that uses an i386 CPU, but if I'm wrong then you can fiddle around until it works, like I did, purely to try and squeeze an extra performance because I didn't have anything better to do.
