Guys, is there a way to change the built-in java arguments in feather? I would like to use a different Garbage collector than G1GC that is selected by default, but i can't seem to find how.

I'd like to change to Shenandoah GC because i'd like to try it, however when ii launch with the arg -XX:+UseShenandoahGC, it just crashes and tells me that there are two gc's selected, and in the crash log it tells me that somewhere in the "Libary" folder, more arguments are comming out.

Welp son, I ain't knowin' that yer knowin' or nay, but if yer ain't then lemme tell yer the basics.
Feather comes up with it's own JRE/JDK, so basically you have to replace it under the .minecraft/jre/ directory there will be two other directories, just look for a 17, 21 or an 8, and that's the Java version, just delete all in the directory for the Java version corresponding to the Minecraft version you're trying to launch (8 = anything under 1.17, 17 = anything from 1.16 and above, 21 = anything from 1.21 and above), and then replace all of it's contents with the contents of a JRE that supports Shenandoah, like IBM Semeru, or something like that, well whatever it is. You'll probably gain absolutely nothing from doing this, I'm also not sure if any of this is even going to work because I haven't launched Feather and its launcher in like what? A whole year? But g'luck on yer journey!

I never knew that Feather came with it's own JVE/JDK, so that's cool. But i have a few questions:

1. Will replacing the JVE/JDK in the folder make feather automatically use it instead? Or will feather "repair" and redownload its JVE/JDK?

2. From my very limited knowledge of the error message, it seems that feather is running a java-argument behind-the-scenes that is activating G1GC, so I think that even if i change the JVE/JDK, it will still use G1GC. Which is why i get the error of trying to run two GC's at once.

3. Just double checking if 1.21.1 is Java version 21?

no title screens will either be like cef_cache, the skins folder or the accounts folder, all of those steps can be found somewhere in #1098503726232244284 i believe… on the assumption you didn’t mess something crazy up

When I try to join any server, the texture pack just never loads. Have to close and open feather 2-3x and then it finally loads. Doesn't do this on any other client, any fix? I have no mods or anything added.
