soo I just install the client another time without deleting the current one than i was able to access the feather access menù, i had to login with my microsoft account, when i click on the +Microsoft Account after like 1/2 min the microsoft has appeard, i enter my account data and had to wait for like 30 sec after that i could start the minecraft launcher and than i was able to enter in minecraft. This worked for me so you can try, it didn't remove any mod that i have installed soo you can try and hope it works

When I log in to my Microsoft account, everything seems to be OK, but when I click log in, my profile doesn't log in. What can I do to make sure it logs me in successfully?

neither does the minecraft nor feather launcher work, doesn't matter what you do
feather works off of minecraft API's
minecraft works off of, well... minecraft API's.
with the API's being down / malfunctioning / under maintenance, nothing will work
all you can do is just complain about it while being patient
