generally new versions are added fairly quickly, depends alot on when Brendan and the rest of the devs decide its stable and ready to be released on said version

@wet smelt is right, this should just be caused by optifabric, its a bug that rarely happens due to it, theres also other causes that may have this outcome where you're stuck on the mojang studios screen but in this case it should just be optifabric

• Go to C://Program Files and make sure "Feather Launcher" is deleted.
• Go to appdata -> .minecraft and delete every single folder with "Feather" on it's name.

• Go to appdata and delete .feather
