and move the zip file in it

also datapacks is vanilla so if you dont use mods, you dont even need forge

vanilla is basically directly normal minecraft, for example where you play from original launcher
forge and fabric is modded minecraft, where they allow you to create and play with mods, enchaning game experience
paper i dont really remember but like forge and fabric

feather is a forge for old versions, fabric for new versions bundled with mods and optimizations
for example with forge, you can install optifine mod in your launcher, (if fabric, recommended sodium mod) and these such mods boosts your performance
