so like for example i wanna use java 20(p sure it already reached eol) on 1.20.1, i'd close the game, go to .minecraft(or another custom directory)/jre/ and then i'd head over to the OpenJDK17U folder as i pretend to change the jre of any version above 1.12(jre8u--- on the otherhand with 1.12 and 1.8), and then i'd just delete everything inside OpenJDK17U(or jre8u---) and paste the extracted jre's .zip(.tar, whatever it is) file and paste it there.

it's a tiny bit unfortunate on how forge(for 1.8, didn't really go too further with 1.12.2 or any other version) is hard-coded on java 8 tho.

Hey guys, im trying to create a Modded Server with the Valhelsia 3 Modpack. I created it with the 1.16.5 forge jar file and installed the server files. Then I put in all mods. The server starts and works. But I cannot join it. The console gives out the following: ("Date" ERROR rust_launcher::proxy) proxy: failed to create local connection: It couldnt be possible to create a connection because the targeted Computer denied the access. (os error 10061)). some time ago I created the same server modpack but had the same issue. Its not from feather or the server itself bu from the pc. I think. has someone a Idea of what I could try? Firewall exception is on and firewall is off.

So I installed it, and it doesn't open. Every time I try to open it, it shows the icon in the taskbar, but when I click on it, it's like it's UI is entirely white and empty. But the most interesting part, is that I can literally click through it.

And yes, I tried everything; running it in compatibility mode(for all versions of Windows), running it as an Administrator, uninstalling it, reinstalling it, installing VC_redist, because the developer told me to try that, and none of these worked. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
