Yeah can do, so open feather, select mods on the right hand side of the screen. Then select the version of mc you wish to mod for in the upper left hand corner. Should look like "1.20.1-FB" or similar, on the upper right hand corner click browse mods, search for and select replay mod. Click ADD on the version you're modifying for, and ensure its enabled.

Launch the game, if it crashes or doesnt work you might be missing some lib/framework or dependency

thats your issue, you brought the bedrock version of minecraft. Which feather is not a client for, you'll have to use the default launcher for bedrock found in the windows store

Honestly if you ask me that seems like a non, issue really XD just re-add the texture pack? if you wanted you could disable features that mess with the resource packs, like the orgonizers, and ensure that your reasource pack is updated with the most recent version and try again

thats because afaik feather doesnt ship with many or high quality optimizers, your best bet is using a base modpack like FO/SO and manaully adding it to feather

tbh my man if your fps is staying above a solid 60 you cant blame your fps, its mostly a skill issue, and i mean that litterally.

But even aside from that anything over 100 is more then good enough and you said you where getting double that.

This imo, is 100% a non issue and not something you should worry about in the slightest.

But if you want you can do other optimizations, things like turning off shaders, custom resource packs, minimizing particles and render distance, disabling any 3d hud elements either in mc or feather etc etc.

Its normal to have a "skill issue" and idk why people get so defenisve over it XD

But yeah if its that much of an unbearable dealbreaker for ya my best suggestion would probably just be sticking with lunar in that case. Feather is alot newer, has a much smaller budget and dev team with a debatibly larger scope. Its not gonna be as optimized espeaclly since its in beta and isn't even full release yet, while luanr is on what? Its 3.0 release?

seems like you hit the limit on the amount of feather hosted servers you can run, your best bet if this is a bug is to make a #transcripts

no there is no crossplay on a feather server right now, and yes its possible to control it from another pc as long as the source server has something like ssh or rustdesk

I have been using feather client for a few months and everything seemed to be fine but today I logged on and after a little I started getting a maximum of 50 fps I relaunched the game and it happened again after a few minutes. not really, on the possibly worst specs in existance fortnite on the lowest settings would run at 1-12 fps while not responding and minecraft still runs at around 200-300 fps on 1.17+ with mods.

and by "lowest settings" i mean values that were not pre-defined inside the game but actual changes in the game's option(more like setting) files.

i can assure you that fortnite is one of the easiest games to run

Alright so to put things very very simply, lets say your computer has 1000 spoons, and this game is intensive so it uses about 700 of those spoons, meaning theres 300 left for everything else.

But when you put your pc in sleep mode, it means that the pc takes away 500 of those spoons, so now the game only has 200. Which is less then what it needs, so it crashes.

Honestly yk what the devs need to do? Add a custom feather bot that hooks with chatgpt to answer tickets and give support, then add a "I need a human" flag for when the bots not helping them. It'd save them a ton of work

or just make some sort of clyde wrapper as it already has the gpt intergration

Sadly as it stands right now theres no forge intergration and I dont think their will be, if you need a server you could always look at free hosters like ploud or aternos

I'm aware of that, but i'm assuming that they want a server that doesnt expose their bare ip, or they have port forwarding issues and the like, hense why i suggested a remote host.

Its easier then explaining something like vps, port forwarding, reverse proxies etc XD

all u have to do is disable all the blur settings

though they mentioned that they fixed blur crashing in #✨┃client-updates , they didnt.
