you know what makes even more sense, searching up "Client.intermediary.jar" on google there's no source on it saying it's a virus from the 1st to the 2nd page(anonymous tab for un-based results... tho however there's 2 random russian pages and i don't usually trust websites that are on other languages aside english by default as it's the most spoken language in the world according to wikipedia).

and also cuz just using bare fabric also installs client.intermediary.jar, since it's well... required for it to work as intended.

the ".feather" directory can't be altered from what i know, but you can set the default ".minecraft" directory from being used in feather by setting it to another directory... also i prefer setting it to another directory because the ".minecraft" folder is messy

option 1: download every single mod (for fabric) individually (modmenu is advised ig... don't really use modpacks so don't know if all of the mods will actually appear there)
option 2: get smthin' like the curseforge app, get the modpack, go to the folder get the mods, paste them onto feather
option 3: don't know if running the modpack on normal minecraft downloads all of the mods but ig you could try that

remove the mods 1 by 1 until you find which one is causing the crash, remove that mod, try again with all enabled, repeat the process until all the crashes are gone.

note: it's easier to turn them all on 1 by 1 (and launch the game each time one is turned on, so like around 300 game launches cuz around 300 mods)

all of the config are placed on the ".minecraft/config/" directory or "a custom directory/config"
