the F3 menu ram doesn't display server ram, it displays the amount of allocated ram to the client itself.
so let's say you have set the jvm arg -Xmx4096m on the default minecraft launcher, it's gonna say 4gb/4096mb on the F3 menu, and if you set the ram to 4096 on feather client it's gonna show 4gb/4096mb on the F3 menu.

the f3 menu is completely client-sided, the only real info it shows about multiplayer is if it's multiplayer or not on the left side i'm pretty sure...
like the rendered blocks, the block id's you're lookin' at the player coordinates, the framerate, the block tick's.

you don't... or you do a bungle around feather-version's .json file and you go to fabric api and then you get the url, remove the sha1 or replace it with the newer one and it'd probably work... tho it'd most likely not work since i'm p sure it feather re-downloads the .json file when you launch the game... i could be wrong tho.

yeah... you use optifine on 1.8(because it came out in 2014), then like details or graphics settings the tab that has "mipmap levels" in it and then you turn custom sky on.
