if you open task manager and go to the performance tab, then to Memory, top right of task manager with say a number then GB

if you head over to the launcher settings

make sure it's set to atleast 3076 (3gb) or BC you have 16gb, you are safe to do 4096 (4gb)

if you head into the Feather mods menu in the launcher, locate Sodium and click on it, on the sidebar it opens, click where it says "latest" next to 1.20.1 and change it to the previous version, (it will show the latest version without the word latest directly under latest so you will have to click the second version in that list)

you will also need to do this for all Sodium related mods

you obviously can't... like you can't with optifine capes, custom capes aren't part of the main game.
some mods(haven't seen one that allows feather capes) allow people to see optifine, labymod and sum other capes, tho it's just see, it won't make it appear for every player unless they also have that mod that allows other capes to show up, mods that add capes like optifine or the custom(feather, lunar... that sorta stuff) client.

Hello. I encountered an issue today involving a server I'm hosting on feather, there appears to be no issues in the server logs so I'm asking here. When I join the game, I am frozen in place and unable to move, I can interact with the world but my legs just dont work, the issue affects me and one other person, other people can move normally. I have a problem, my cilent keeps on crashing on launch. I play on 1.19.2. The crash reason is, "Feather crashed or failed to fully start. Please try to check added mods for incompatibility. Feather already includes a large set of mods itself." Although when I turned off every mod, besides Optifine-Fabric, it still crashes on launch. I've uninstalled the launcher numerous times, relaunching it, tried the "Repair Version" thing. Nothing works, so please help me!

I made a server with feather client but how do I turn it to hardcore?

go to the server folder (%appdata%/.feather/player-servers/servers/(hash)/, "(hash)" is just an id formulated of a bunch of random characters)
proceed to open server(.properties) in a text editor, and change hardcore=false to hardcore=true
