there are 3 main mod loaders in the mc java space: Forge, Fabric, and Quilt

Feather supports Forge for versions 1.8.9 and 1.12.2, all other versions use Fabric

you cannot change the mod loader to Forge on later versions

and Forge on those versions will never be added

go to " %appdata% " (literally just type it out with the percentage symbols aswell) either thru the Win + R menu or the search bar, open the folder named ".feather" delete "accounts.json" the .json probably will not appear as windows usually hides files extensions by default and you'll only see a file called "accounts", then try again.

basically the entire point of the "Bruh 😭" is that: it's a problem with the launcher, to install the launcher you need to be able to run the installer, feather client's installer doesn't even run on mac.

Make feather server (most likely use fabric api as it will be easier to add mods on) then run the server and shut it down after it finishes running, then open the files and find the mod folder and open it, then go to mods section of feather client and find mods you want, open them in modrinth and download them + their dependencies, then take those mods downloaded from the downloads section in your storage and paste them into the mods folder, then your done, some mods may need the user to install them, but that depends on the mod…

Ive only heard of 1 sodium issue with FabricAPI and it was BC of Feather using an outdated version of it

and you can easily get a new FAPI version on Feather by putting the required one in your mods folder

so idk what your talking about when you say "fabric API issues"

if anything it's OptiFabric causing those issues

if it requires 0.86.2 and you have 0.86.1, it either crashes or it has tiny gameplay issues.

rlcraft is client sided... so... uhm basically modpacks don't work since they're zip files, and only jar files are accepted, so to use a modpack you'd use every jar from the modpack(.zip) individually*
