ok hit win+r, type %appdata%, hit enter, open .feather, then player-servers open servers then open the folder for the server you are running, then in there open the server file (it's a .properties file) then scroll down to where it says "allow-flight", edit it so it says "true", save the file, and you should be good to go

if you want the original client's jre back, you just delete the folder and relaunch the game since it'll re-download the files as the jre folder is not being detected.

and yes, you can use custom jvm args like shenandoah gc on java 8 by changing the jre and going to the client launcher's settings.

are you able to make feather servers bedrock compatiable as well? i know about the geyser plugin, and I have that installed for fabric, however if you attempt to join on bedrock, it simply isn't able to join. I was thinking it could just be the port, so I also tried using java's generic port. i guess i was just wondering if there was some simple answer to how to get the servers working with bedrock compatibility
