Also, Web3 people hate central control like Iron Musk of Twitter. Is Spatial Iron Must of metaverse and autocracy? This process is against democracy.

I and my friends are active players in Japan. We face difficulties in getting new users and make once-visited users come back.
This new policy makes it harder to get new users.
Some people told me that Spatial is ghost town. We are very frustrated that the number of users does not increase. The headquarters are to be blamed.
It makes no sense to pay fee under this condition that the number of users is small with cost-benefit calculation.

Agreed. Frustrating to have such a wonderful feature now paywalled. Not a great way to lure in new community members or retain existing ones.
For those that can afford it, paying for Spatial+ might be a bit more appealing if there were some analytics: is Spatial growing or are they hemorrhaging money? In addition, seeing Spatial employees more active in their own community Discord would be a nice start - it's quite discouraging seeing questions go unanswered and people expressing their legitimate frustration only to be (seemingly) answered with silence from the team.

Not 'ALL' Spatians and not 'ALL Japanese users'. You should say your opinion as your own opinion. Don't say as group opinion especially as Nationality.
Now free users can use 'Instancing' for free. We can hold a big event. That affects lots of traffic to Spatial to pay I guess. This is my personal opinion. We are fee of speech but don't spread negative opinion as group opinions. Just speak as your opinions.

This is specific in Japan's situation in business. It's up to Spatial how they place importance Japanese market. How many Japanese uses pay for Spatial? We can speak anything but we should not distribute negative opinion in public. It affects not only for new users who consider to use Spatial but also Metaverse. Do you want to make 'Metaverse' such a complain place? If you need, we can gather and discuss what we can do to the changes before complaining in public.
I'm really sad to see Japanese users are no responsibility as we use Spatial almost for free. And we are now OLD users but we can't think the influence to new users.
Also, I think Spatial has to change 'Giving host' function.
By this, many users don't need to pay. They can just get host function for free from one host.

It’s not necessary to make a statement in public yes coz I believe and wish that Metaverse and virtual world should be a “Safe place “ for EVERYONE *not only for a certain race or community or business
As well as for new users for the future,we should be a great example to guide ppl’s following path
It’s easy to make a complaint and request what we received rather than appreciating what we have rn
But yeah maybe we can adjust and utilise what we have for now …still each everyone here’s opinion is valid fosho
