Hello guys,
I will host a music and sport event, and i'll SCREEN SHARE those 2 events.
I know that if i have Spatial + and my space hits capacity (50 people) a new instance will be created to host more 50 people...
The qestion is, the SCREEN SHARE will work in the instance, or just the people that are in the original space will see the SCREEN SHARE?

Hi again,
So, another question is, when someone leaves the original space what appens to the people that are in the instance?
They will be automaticly transfered to the original space?
Or they have to manualy check if the main space is already available?

Screenshare only goes to 1 instance. You stay in your current instance when somebody leaves another.

Is the inability to screenshare to all the instances like AltspaceVR was able to due to patents, or just low priority on the roadmap?

+1 for some means of streaming across instances or even just text chat-- it would enable a lot of events that aren't currently possible

music events mainly-- since hosts are used to being able to run overflow instances in vrc

but a livestream embeddable would need a livestreaming service (twitch often disabled embeds), and vrc users set up their own service. its not super easy to determine how to do it best on a platform like this or gauge demand but it would be neat to have a music scene where you could actually charge admission and sell merch with spatial currency

In my case I held events for up to 130 people, on a PC I put my user to share screen, when it exceeds 50 people a room is created with the new people, then I access it from another PC with another user and I give them host permission and I share the screen in that room 2, if a guest number 101 accesses, from a third PC I add another administrator and share the screen.

It is laborious, but it is the only alternative. The bad thing is that you cannot manage users by rooms and often the first room is left with 5-8 users, as they leave, but there is no longer the option to unify the rooms. It is common for people to detect many users in a Spatial world and enter to see what is happening, but they often leave the world and their space already occupies a place of 50.

The only thing is that if they share the 3 rooms in the chat, they see it at the same time.

I really hope this is a feature they look into expanding. This caveat is such a bummer to explain to potential clients who want to throw a larger scale event

hi RF , did you do that with literaly 3pc? im thinking on open diferent google sesions and in each one have a spatial user,making them host and wait for overflow...... what you think?
