#Change maintenance schedule

I believe this has been requested many times in the previous suggestions channel. Some players in certain time zones like or have no choice but to play before reset due to their sleep schedule or work. The current schedule do not let us do that. What is worse, it often caught players out of guard because they forget that there would be a maintenance as it has become their habit to play like an hour before reset. I have personally suffered a lot because of this and I am sure many others too; not being able to collect/exchange rewards from events or forgetting to change Champions Arena's formations. Simply moving the schedule an hour or two earlier than the current schedule would be a good solution.

Maintenance schedules likely won't change as they're scheduled at a time such that once the maintenance is over, the new update content is applied (in other words, maintenance is back-scheduled the necessary amount of time from reset). While it may not be convenient for everyone, it's near impossible to find a maintenance schedule that works with every timezone in which MH has a player base.

We try our best to notify players of the maintenance period in advance that there will be server downtime to provide sufficient notice to adjust the "day-of" daily reward claiming.

Any chance of a 48 hour notice? As people who don't sign in on the day are affected. Doing a 48hour notice means you will know there's maintenance the day before that will prevent this issue. @dense knoll

FYI, we will be trying to do global notices for future maintenance periods ~48 hours in advance. We just announced a maintenance notice in #📣┋game-news for this coming weekend. Hopefully this is sufficient notice for those who found the previous notice timing much more inconvenient.

As previously mentioned, the actual maintenance times will likely never change for operational reasons.

Please let me know if this works out better for those that the previous schedule didn't work out for :)

I think it works better 48hours earlier in game. I saw the notice today in game, missed discord as not always active on here. Keen to see what others think though

Bumping this one, what happened to the 48hour notice? Today you gave us less than 20 hour notice? I

unfortunately no one, since you can't/shouldn't be pinging devs. i'd recommend going to #📬┋contact-us and using the feedback function for any really pressing matters

i have no idea if the devs do check the suggestions channel, but at the very least i'm aware the contact us > feedback function is looked at by the devs from time to time

That's a very tedious process, I avoid that as much as possible so will wait for a new CM.
