Hi everyone,
so I bought a caddx Vista and opened it today but I saw that there is something a bit wrong with the pads. I didnt do anything it was like this straight out of the Box.
Can I still solder it or isnt this a good idea?

that definitely doesn't look right if that's how it came like new. You can probably get it replaced or refunded.

But it is most likely fine, it will just need some cleaning

They solder the + and - pads for Quality Control. Mine had solder on them too. The white stuff is probably flux residue. As said try isopropyl
