#Soldering tip

@hexed bridge Idk how to explain it
But the soldering iron with the cable wouldn't stick to the ESC. It's on it but with a little pull the soldering iron comes off again
Leaderpro and I tried everything from 350 to 400 degrees
Tried really short really long put on soldering grease that made it even worse and now it won't come off...
What grease???
Make sure it’s not plumbing flux
Can you take a picture of your FC and cable currently?
Took the cable off
I'm really frustrated right now tbh
I mean I tried for over an hour now
- wipe your iron until it’s clean
- apply a bit of solder to the tip, not much.
- touch the large pad with the iron. Just one of them.
- wait about 10-30 sec, whenever you see the solder start to wet the pad.
- add a bit more solder, make sure it is wetting the pad
- add the wire. This will cool the whole thing down, so your iron needs to be on there for a while. Try to heat both the pad and the wire at the same time
- add more solder until it covers everything
Yeah that's what I tried I was watching a video of somebody soldering the same board the problem is that the pad does not really get wet with the soldering
That's why I tried that grease or what ever you call it in English
Then either you are not using a good enough iron, using the wrong solder, or you don’t have enough flux, or all of the above
