Because i've seen people use brushes (digital) with specific shapes that could have been drawn as well. Can you take credit for that? Because in traditional painting there are no brushes which already got the shape.
I'm not that good at explaining but maybe you get what i'm trying to say.

I'm trying to say that in digital painting there are a lot of tools which make things easier to draw. For example different brushes. Let's say there is a brush which makes a lot of little flowers at the same time (and you use that for the background or whatever) then tecnically you didn't draw all those little flowers yourself. But can you take credit for that then or should you state that too?
I think it's hard to define where to draw the line.

Maybe it depends on the ratio.
If you make a whole painting with a lot of stuff in it and you used only a few tracing sketches it's different than if your whole drawing is based on something you didn't make yourself.

I personally like doing everything myself, maybe that's also why i don't like digital painting that much.
But in the end it's still art, it's free and as long as you don't steal things from other artists or people without their permission, everything is fine.
