Yes, the running speed is faster than usual

You can see that here because at the very beginning of the run here my character skips a coin, which doesn’t usually happen. In the second clip, the coin arches are longer than usual for this early on in the run. This is the game adjusting to the faster speed

Also, I learned in a longer run that the coin arches are also longer than usual, which can be heard by the last coin being picked up being a higher pitch than usual

I also notice at beginning of runs for me, it just feels faster
