If you're getting lots of coins/coinsacks then its going to be way better because it'll loop into itself faster
But if its active during a coin drought then honeycomb is still gonna give you more coins

40 coins from popping a bubblegum is a little silly in practice

Its fun but in terms of score its... not good enough
Bubblegum is still base 80 which is nice and magnets are also technically 115 value to him because of that
Hed need to be able to print way more bubblegums using g-tiger if he wanted to use them as a source of passive score

as it stands you're probably only getting one bubblegum over 2 boards if youre lucky

and at that point you could just use dog city and get a guaranteed magnet + bubblegum every activation
and at that point you might aswell just use grandmaster for 500 score on activation instead of 115 from powerups

the coins can rack up over the course of a very long run but he just doesnt get his powerup as consistently as other characters that can print them like tricky or tasha

I think if you took her first ability and made it a flat 10 coins
Then made it so that levelling it up gave a 1/2/3/4/5s duration increase to all powerups (except battery) then her powerup = multiplier strategy would be a little closer to Tasha, whilst still being a little weaker to balance out the fact she gets it off of every powerup rather than just one specific one

My logic is that, in terms of being a powerup character shes outclassed by billy who A) prints them innately without needing a board to do it for him and B) gets more rewards from it (notably board charges, where his board can be dedicated to score since he doesnt need to rely on one to help his kit function)
And in terms of scaling off of powerups, shes weaker than Tasha who gets a duration extension on her powerups so her mult lasts longer, and again can print her powerups as part of her kit without needing to rely on a board to help her, so she can use a score board instead

Ella's main sell points are that she scales off of every powerup rather than just one
And that she gets a huge payout when she collects a secret star
