90% of the time there is a secret star per district at the beginning. "Sometime" it can skip one. So if you've made it through district 4 and you haven't gotten all 3, you'll NEVER get all 3 and you've missed one. This also can change as sometimes the district can spawn 2 of the 3 stars, and so you'll go through them a lot faster. You've also got the rare chance that if Southline is your first district it can spawn a secret 4th star, and that one doesn't count to the normal cap of 3.

There's currently 22 characters and 22 boards in the game for those that have been playing for a while. These were from many seasons and jackpot prizes (before they introduced credits). Now that the last "pre-global launch" season has ended, there are now 14 characters available to get. All of these characters can be unlocked through City Tour, XP levels, ad box jackpot, and credits. All the other 8 characters will most likely be released slowly as their own seasons, become available for credits, or pop up in the shop for a one time purchase.

On global launch, these are the characters with their respective boards that will be available. PLUS whatever character + board is in the global launch season pass.

and it wasn’t that big of a deal before profiles update

they fixed it after that with the 50m cap though

which didn’t fail progress for the ones that wanted a perfect champion streak

Funny little quirk about not having an active season right now... the 4th character on city trials is ALWAYS the current season pass character. Because there's no season pass atm, it just shows 3 and then when you click on a city tour, it gives you a completely random 4th character. This can be cycled by just going to a different city tour and then back. It'll change the 4th character. 🤣

For the f2p players who are struggling with the score requirement for city tour levels, play now as you'll get a free high five starting score until the next season starts.

You get character tokens through boxes and high scores. These tokens go to a specific character that you have. Once you've got the right amount of tokens, you can upgrade your character for the tokens + coins. The amount required goes up as you get higher levels. The higher your level, the greater the multiplier, crew bonus, and abilities.

Upgrading a character also gives you +1% to your global bonus.
