I think it's just a baseline, and it makes sense tbh. You shouldn't punish players for getting really high level and grinding. Lvl 50 being the top is good. Why continue punishing players because of the amount of characters, boards, and upgrades they have? It's the same idea why enemy lvl scaling in other games is really annoying. Going back to the starting area of an RPG and absolutely rinsing enemies is great haha.

Keys are pretty much worthless atm because the only thing you can spend them on is character/board tokens and super boxes. Both are pretty weak when it comes to conversion, so I just keep them.

Because then the freebie surfer tokens from the high score rewards could be used to upgrade the character when it actually starts getting dramatically harder to level them up

I do think the city tour "passes" are incredibly steep for a 1 time purchase. Mainly just because I have all characters though. You effectively get a "free" character and board unlock if you purchase it though.

I think Monique and Noon's passes are getting re-released still but that's it

I imagine one of the season 4-8 characters will get thrown into the 5th district's city tour and the rest just get eventually sold for credits

I only think new districts will probably come more frequently than most people think simply because they clearly intentionally held off from making many new ones in the beta, much like how eventually they even held off from new surfers by 2025

So there is probably a huge backlog of development by now

I mean like Georgie and Lucy's designs were made all the way back in 2023. And there's also still characters with models in the files that have zero playable data
