But it's not that far of a gap since SSC needs 2 Versions more than the core game itself, Subway Surfers needs minimum version 6.0 while City needs 8.0

About the Art Style: in my view it got lots more improvements than the core game currently delivers, but has still something to do with which devices gets supported.

But with data transfer issues I don't recommend it right now

The support team said my problem was caused by an unofficial version. And avoided answering twice if my problem was solvable

But I think there is a way to safely transfer your progress

I haven't tried it yet cuz there is no need for me.

All u have to do is delete the game on the 2nd device and install it again before launching it. It will prevent two save files conflicting with each other

So the game will get the data directly from the cloud and won't be overwritten by old save file

You can only install it, if it's out in your country and your device has at least 4GB of Ram free.
So I suggest you buy a phone/tablet that has at least 6GB of ram or more since the system takes at least 2GB of ram.

I bought all the remaining characters (6; 2 from the Shop; strange that 4 characters are not available in the Shop, but if you go to Trials and click on the missing characters (3 characters for me) you get a new menu which allows you to buy it straightforward, and Jay (number 4) came up minutes late on the main page with offers) as I got tired of watching ads, is this a good thing? Or Im a desperate player?

Oh, and District Trials has new currency tickets, though 5 keys for 1 ticket (expensive).

The ticket is for trials. Instead of showing Play, not is showing Play and the logo for 1 ticket. You can use one ticket then you need to watch ads to play more with the same character. Well, this move is just another ‘extremely greedy move’ to milk money through ads from players. Now you need to watch 1 ad to play the Trials, or you can pay 5 keys for 1 trial, or some euros for 30 tickets…. For one location you need to watch 3 ads, spend 15 keys or pay some euros to play. Not a free game anymore, Everything you do in this game is well designed to cash in at the expense of users trying to have some fun on expensive devices….

This game needs food to live on so it's obvious that there will not be only free to play things in-game, certain things must be IAP so devs can get money too from their job

Even if there might be not great value from the start, these can be tested and improved further.

I understand this, but i think it’s too much. I paid for 6 characters, and each month for Subway Pass but now i have to play for playing trials too? The game is advertised as free game, yet some sections are available by paying either by watching ads or real money. I think Subway Pass should be enough and Trials included as well, its a simple game not a monthly electric bill. We have subscription to Music (millions of songs and albums) and this game wants at least half of the music subscription while giving you internal paid sections… i think Sybo is largely greedy and it’s motivated to squeeze pockets and time from players, Sybo is not the underdog here, its the master with a stick.

The Subway Pass in comparison with Music and Films subscription is more expensive and less rewarding. The Pass should be around 2.99-3.99 euros and more generous. If you do the maths of opening boxes and the number of tokens from ads per day, it takes you around 8 years to upgrade all the characters and hoverboards to maximum. And this is only for the characters and hoverboards that are available at this point, However, this number will increase with additional characters and hoverboards. Per day you can have around 300-350 tokens (ads and trials). The number of total tokens (characters: 22 with 15 levels) + number of hoverboards (20 with 20 levels each) is around 1,000,000 tokens, maybe a little bit more. The number of total tokens divided by daily tokens= equals with around 8 years to fully upgrade. Of course, you dont have to do it, but this is the point of the game: upgrade to get a higher score and be on top of the leaderboard. If Sybo wants money they need to come with a cheaper option as this is the last month of my pass. I rather invest in the pension pot than Sybo pocket. No offence. This is a generous scenario, but for other users who dont watch all the daily ads the upgrade is more than 8 years, maybe never. The cost of keys and coins is extremely high: you need to pay at least 1000 euros to upgrade characters at a higher level. The cost of over 50 euros for keys is more than an official full game that you own for life, but Sybo can change their minds and close the game and you get nothing.
