But basically sometimes there’s a set of steam vents on all lanes (similar to updraft skipper star) and there’s a large block of wood that covers the bottom part of the bridge. If you have hoverboard you need to activate it and then roll when you enter the steam vents and crash through the wood (hence the “break on through” title). There’ll be a star on the right lane.

You can also just jump over the steam vents but idk my timing can be bad sometimes so I mostly just roll when I enter the steam vents

Any Tips for a newbie

1. the more time you spend in the game, the better your result, gradually you will get used to high speed, you will begin to remember the location of obstacles (in fact, they are not randomly generated)
2. collect secret stars, you can get up to 3 pieces per race, and if you are going to set a record, you better collect them all, they are generated one star per location, on average every minute and 30 seconds, you can find out about their location on the wiki
3. try to make 100k on all your characters, this will give you a lot of valuable currency and points for upgrading them, which will allow you to set records easier
4. learn to play with two fingers or quickly with one, if you learn to move quickly, this will allow you to avoid critical moments and in general you will feel more comfortable in the game

Btw, sometimes I doubt that I am good enough at it myself, today I played both trippy tarps disgustingly

it's sad that I can play this so rarely, because it seems to me that with enough practice I could bounce as many times as possible, and at least not ruin the race as it happened here

I think it's possible to do 20k in one race

I must say, that with every consecutive Subway Pass they give more in terms of surfer upgrades. Already level 9

So I just had a pretty decent run with Zara and I must say from the looks of it, she might be a top scorer in the as opposed to Fresh who’s also a score-based surfer. The rate at which she score 100k was pretty quick compared to others.

That’s a good question. Can’t say I know for sure but I know the rate at which her score increases exponentially over time is very quick at lest for the first 100k. Plus gets a bonus score every time she jumps or slides under hurdles with and without the board. This one you might have to test yourself. I haven’t reached the mills yet lol
