For the second one I more invisioned the speed increasing every minute by ~10% instead of going by score. I feel like going by score would be somewhat p2w instead of skill based.

The first one would be more like time trials where you face off against others with the same pre-designed layout. This one is a bit p2w because players with a maxed out surfer would obviously make more points than one that didnt.
