yeah I realised post recording and figured it would work out in the wash if the next person just took a bit out of the first bar, it seems to have pushed everything off the 4 bar cycle though. My bad.

I don't think it matters much here, because the 4-bar cycle isn't that pronounced. I recorded each of my 4s at random start points and then dragged them together. Other beats it can be a huge problem, but not so much here.

I did think of rewriting my first to leave some space, but I like my intro as it is, it's kinda the best part.

Just for a little bit more constructive feedback. You need a bit more practice on riding the beat. Try to keep your couplets of rhymes in a similar tempo so it's not so up and down.

Also try to have a bit more coherence in your bars, these cyphers are for anyone and everyone, but most people who jump on generally have a good understanding of the basics beforehand

The first 8 you wrote had some interesting stuff, could just be tidied up a little bit but not too bad

The second 8 you wrote it is very hard to even follow what you are trying to say, and most of it rhymes poorly

I think you should just take the feedback on it can only help you g, shocky and the boys have been doin these back to back verse cyphers for a few years now so it’s only constructive criticism.. I think if everyone stuck to the same formula Seth has for the battles where you start after or on the first bar and finish before the last bar everyone will flow off each other a bit smoother.. kinda the reason I went the acapella route so the transitions would be smooth but it’s way too much effort with mixing, take the feedback on board it will only help you grow 🤙
