I think humans in general would benefit greatly from a general performance increase on the ground. Torque has been an issue since day 1, and the only vehicle that feels satisfying in its intended role is LQ.

I don't think they should be slow enough to warrant air mobility for movements that are basically within eyesight.

It's a game, the scale is really really not comparable to real life here.

It's really not hard to see how viable air ferry for vehicles would be. Especially on very rough terrain like naraka

I bet even minor buffs to ground vehicle mobility would absolutely shutter any interest in airborne tank lifters.

I feel like the boost feature could be reworked into a 'cruise' mode.

Substantially boosts forward movement, kills maneuverability. Tweak recharge time as necessary.

Now that I think about this, I really don't want to see tank lifters until ground mobility has at least been given a brief revisit. Vehicles are almost as bad as FPS aliens. If they didn't have ranged weapons they'd be worse.

Right, cool, this suggestion is targeted to heavier vehicles like hovertank and railtank but other vehicles could probably be used for it.

It's an idea which could compensate SOL overall sluggish ground army. But if you would like to give a more concrete revision of the current ground vehicles then kindly do it in another post.

Obviously if you are going to change the identity of the current faction from having a slow ground army to a fast ground army. This vehicle won't make sense for other than getting the vehicle off certain rough terrain.

But that's another idea by itself. This idea is from the standpoint of the current build with the current identity in mind.

Also the Sol vs Centauri split. Does Sol use more teleport tech for vehicles?
