Rank based XP system (both players and commanders), and access to command support systems like artillery and other capabilities.
-
Choosable body armour types Light, Medium and Heavy, maybe power armour assisted? For the high tech tiers allowing us to run faster and jump higher.
-
Working compass with 16 point bearing point to warn friendlies of incoming enemies.
-
Upgradable sensor , radar and targetting systems for vehicles.
-
Deployable respawn with builitin teleport anchor, allowing you to teleport to a mobile vehicle spawn, which also has a loadout access terminal
-
More than one commander; in the games current state more than one commander would be helpful who can fulfil players requests for vehicles etc, and assist with construction of base elements providing both commanders and players are better play experience overall.

UNIT CAP players are overloading the servers and games in general withn way too many AI tech rank increases unit cap to MAXIMUM allowed
#Some ideas I'll add more later.

Armor on units is based on the unit because RTS.
Rank based unit access? What is this company of heroes? Who wants to be locked out of units because they haven’t played long in an RTS?
In game progression.
Not "global" it as I said prevents people going straight to spamming a specific unit
If you ever played Homeworld 2 Complex mod you'd know what I mean.
Sort of like how ArmA 3 Zeus worked
You had to place a set amount of units to unlock other units
Most people I know straight up turn that off, just ain’t fun to deal with.
Have you played complex mod?
It had a "commander" rank up system it prevented people from going straight for T5 units
Which keeps happening
In Silica
No, i simply don't have a problem with people going for T5 units if they go there then they spent the money and such to do so.
Is what you prefer people being stuck at T2 units or something?
why would it matter how long a person has played for them to get the last units in a tech tree?
I'd rather not be ganked straight up.
changing how long a player has to play for that wouldn't stop that.
The game already has requirements it takes for you to reach that next tech, that being having made the previous buildings for that tech.
Tech tree is too simple.
for aliens and humans depending on map that can already take a bit.
I mean its not overcomplicated sure, its simple enough to have fun with and will just get more units as the game gets more content.
I like how you focus on literally one thing to complain about.
because it was the only other thing i had a problem with.
if you want to raise the bar for the next tech just increase the cost of the next building in the tree.
No it should be based on a prequisite tree
The units for purchase aren't based for TREES its based on a building by building bases which i prefer.
More complex than T1 T2 etc.
Thats not really that complex either.
we're talking about changing a system that doesnt even need to be changed.
Meh don't really care what you've got to say it's for the devs to read not you.
