Sort of like Men of War's direct control system, it can get overpowered so the option to limit this should be there too ig

i think the commander should be able to do something similar except will have access specifically to a commander unit IE a hive king or a literally commander with command vehicle for humans

eh then your role as an fps player is not to back seat command and listen instead of begging for stuff i cant afford at the time?

if fps players are allowed to make suggestions that take away gameplay from the commander why cant the commander have an fps unit i seen no problem in this and ontop of that it can help both sides with base defense early game

I think to balance things out player should also be more like squad leaders with the ability to purchase up to 18 inf units and command them from the fps point of view (sorta like Arma but more simplified)

Also if drones were to be added, then it goes without saying that command should have the ability to control them directly

and my arguement is if fps players can do that then commanders should get a special fps unit

FPS player will do it in a really small scale so it'll be different

If you play Arma think of the High Command mechanic vs the normal squad commanding

#

FPS player will get these squads for them not be lonely when wanting to make an offensive or infiltrate somewhere

It'll also make FPS players valuable in the game

As of now, FPS player are just there and don't affect much

But the way fps is right now player controlled units are completely different

The amount of damage you can do at the start of the game with starter units can easily wrap a match in 30mins
