I was doing the tutorial and got to the part where I had to supply power to the decks from the batteries and noticed that when I finished turning on all connections, the next quadrant was bugged at 1.78 meters away even though I was more than 1.78 meters away.

just did the next bit and realized that when connecting the g deck distributers, it is bugged at 1.15 meters
Thanks. @thick crystal can have a look when he has free time π
ooo ill take a look tomorrow after work. π
or is it worth waiting until dan finishes eng rework?
as right now..its abit of a mess lol
Might be worth testing this one because it hasn't been touched, so shouldn't be broken
ok testing this now
10/10 would accidently crash the reactor
@hazy wave we need detection for if someone mis-clicks the yellow circle
What yellow circle?
in the tutorial if you dont quite click the yellow indicator. it will still flash if youv pressed the button
Yes, we've chatted about this before. It's the way the system works. It can't be fixed without Dan separating the tutorial into little pieces. He'll do that when we're further in time because it's going to take ages.
also if you accidently crash the reactors..which i did...the player gets stuck until they turn everything back on lol
maybe it needs a catch of "oh you crashed the reactor" go back and do this etc
What do you mean by 'gets stuck'?
In the middle of the tutorial?
Not physically? π
so because youv crashed the reactor eg accidentally turned off the power to the reactor so it is now off
Why would you do that if you're following a tutorial?
because the yellow circle thing. i did it by accident
So, in the future there will be a few things: The highlights will be fixed because the system needs changing. There will be an in game help for the tutorials, so that could be used in this instance, and then ofc we have the forwards/backwards on the tutorial (which is there now).
yes π i was just thinking a smarter/coole option would be ava to go. ok youv messed up the reactor. Do this to get it back on
either way. i cant recreate this bug. i blame gremlins
Okay, thanks π
wondered why everything went off....forgot to switch to supply lol
You should do the tutorial π€£ π€£
:p as qa its my job to break stuff π
