so I am into AI, should I learn/know everything about AI or should I just focus on the topics that I have interest in? I know basics is always needed. But for example if I'm interested in Machine Learning and Computer Vision, should I only focus on them both or should I also learn/know other topics like Expert Systems, Data Mining, Natural Language Processing, Big Data etc?

anyone?
I think you should try to learn basics first, like statistics and neural networks. I first did learn statistics and neural networks and then did my masters in Computer Vision.
I already know the basics
I imagine that logic is cross compatible to some extent. By this I mean, that I can imagine that stuff you learn from one AI type, you will partially be able to apply to the other AI types. Perhaps you want to consider taking a peak into various different fields, to see what you would be letting yourself in for. I imagine it will help you make a better decision
