I am currently an officer right now and I was wondering if we can become captains if we attend the training? The only answer to becoming a pilot is if you attend the LR training and then the Captain training. Which way could I go about to becoming Captain?

You could attend both trainings, as you could pass the captain training or you will get promoted in the LR Training session.
