In the first pic, I circled a method of rail space saving very commonly used by cag. They use the knights armament micro. In the second pic you can see a Wilcox front sight riser paired with the reversed sight again. I have rarely seen the front sight riser used so it really isn't necessary as most operators fare just fine without it, but it would be a welcomed edition.

As much as they shoot im pretty sure back up sights are getting more rare. I don't even use them anymore. After the 10,000 rule you know pretty much within 100 plus meters you can passive aim plus the PEQ.
The general priority for most dudes goes optic, laser, light, BUIS, point shoot
