This one is kinda stupid, I honestly have no idea how to implement this, nor even why, just a random thought. So, what if you add additional hold bind on moving your eyesight. For example, to look under the nods

weary depot
#

you can do this

When you move your head in nods - your nods move with your head

Why would you want to move your eyes...

wicked zealot
#

this genuinely makes no sense

#

But I'm not sure how this would work in a computer game

Im pretty sure he means something similar to freelook but instead of your head your moving your eyes

wicked zealot
#

why would you want or need that

wary crow
#

But I honestly think the nods are fine the way they are

#

People just need to get used to it...

theres no practical use in game

#

irl is a subconscious quick movement

#

in game you'll have to move your fat fingers around and fiddle with keys

#

realism isnt everything

#

its still a game

wary crow
#

I'm not even sure what keybinds would be assigned for the option of this existing

wicked zealot
#

you want realism?

#

load every individual round into your mags before each mission

you want realism?

add a piss meter

every time it fills up your character pisses his pants and cant aim straight

#

Want realism?

#

Manually breathe

wicked zealot
#

exactly

#

not everything can be modelled in game

#

because its a GAME

wary crow
#

This suggestion is more of a VR type deal

#

I haven't seen any games have the concept of moving eyeline from nods

signal nimbus
#

At this point just add manual breathing

wicked zealot

then why post it

Want realism?
Shit your pants when you are in a firefight

i get it but

#

this is such a little thing you really dont need

keen musk
#

exactly

#

it's just something extremely insignificant that would occupy an extra keybind

#

don't get me wrong, the idea isn't bad, but we don't want the game to Arma 3 levels of controls, since that quickly goes from useful to confusing

signal nimbus

#

Yeah

#

I don't even have 10 hours in Arma 3, because the game has so many controls that I just went "I'm NOT learning all of this shit just to play a game"

#

Even setting up an offline scenario was shit, I think that out of the few hours I've got, I actually played for less than 20 mins

Thank God that I've bought for basically the price of a single banana

#

I def don't want people to have the same experience in Operator, especially because some already struggle with the controls

signal nimbus
#

bought it for like 8 bucks

You can do this in the latest TAVR update as an example of tilting to look under NODs, but that's VR.

It's Picture in Picture, allowing you to see underneath. You can tilt, white light, sighted shoot pistol.
