💬💡️ PLEX DB CACHE ADVICE
Consider updating the Plex DB cache setting from 0.50 GB, to a value greater than 1 GB based on the total memory of 32.00 GB.
Setting db_cache: 1024 within the plex settings in your config.yml is effectively 1024MB which is 1GB. For more info on this setting: https://kometa.wiki/en/latest/config/plex#plex-attributes
NOTE:The number you choose can vary wildly based on a number of factors (such as the size and number of libraries, and the amount of files/operations/overlays that are being utilized).
If a collection [no matter who creates it] does not have a specific poster specified, this is what Plex does.
Yeah, I knew that. But I remember it having a poster before so not sure where it went.
The Men in Black thing is a long-running Plex problem related to cAsE in object names. Kometa creates the collection successfully, then tries to update the metadata [one part of which is setting the poster] and Plex doesn't think the collection exists.

Collection is created, movies added. Note the name.
Now Kometa wants to update metadata on the collection [one details is to set the art]. Plex has one named "Men In Black" where Kometa is looking for "Men in Black":
| Found: Men In Black
^
| Looking for: Men in Black
^
Which causes:
| raise Failed(f"Plex Error: Collection {data} not found")
| modules.util.Failed: Plex Error: Collection Men in Black not found
You could try deleting the collection and doing database maintenance to see if Plex will forget about that "Men In Black" one.
I'll try that. I did look and I do have an asset directory for "Men In Black" from Kometa dated back to 2024 but it's empty. LIke I said, I'm not sure what happened to the image file.
Kometa will be downloading a poster for this collection from TMDB.
Kometa doesn't put anything in the asset directory except in one very specific situation which I don't think applies here.
It also doesn't delete anything from the asset directory so if you used to have a poster there somebody else deleted it.
It was probably created by Posterizarr so I'll have to check into that as well. I use Posterizarr to create the asset directories that Kometa uses. Thanks for the help, I'll see what happene after the next run.
Posterizarr also doesn’t create collection posters unless you specifically (manually) create one

True, my mind was in poster mode, not what the poster was for.
Deleting the collection and database maintenance allowed the collection to be made properly in the last run. Still don't know what happened to the original poster.
