Setting up on Synology NAS: Have gone through the tutotial, TMDB conencts fine, but Plex is timing out
Have tested the token with curl -X GET "http://192.168.x.x.:32400" -H "X-Plex-Token: (redacted by Luma)
I know this will be something basic - so sorry, but have been battling this for a while
Thanks!

Where have you tested that from?

#

You're running Kometa in a container; chances are it can't see the host network, so it's can't connect to addresses on the host network.

Where is Plex running?

Plex is running on Synology NAS

#

Ran test on terminal window connected to NAS

So both Kometa and Plex are running in containers on the same NAS?

untold wyvern
#

Yes - Plex not installed as container though - installed through package centre

opal ravine
#

But Kometa is in a container?

untold wyvern
#

yes

In the container, Kometa most likely can't see the host network. You may just need to put the Kometa container on the host network.

untold wyvern
#

okay - let me have a look at the networks

#

thanks

untold wyvern
#

Got rid of the container and went through local install - looks better already - thanks

I went the other way and moved plex from synology package center to a docker container. It’s really the same thing, but didn’t like package center
