Probably not due to Kometa unless the system is extremely memory-constrained, but that wouldn't be a Kometa-config-specific thing.
Just wondering if there's some specific issue you are chasing

"correctly configured" is rather vague.
If Kometa doesn't produce any errors, and the results that Kometa is producing are what you expect, then it's "correctly configured".
If either of those things are not true, then they would provide targets for what might not be "correctly configured".
