Content: So confused why it's not working for me then. I deleted cache. Deleted the collection, ran it again with the below config and it recreated a 120 movie collection WITH the Aliens collection in it.

The Halloween collection shown in that log does not contain Alien.

#

The only collections in that log that reference any of the alien movies are:

I think that’s where @upbeat hazel is getting confused. Those aren’t anywhere relating to Halloween. They are in other collections, but not Halloween

Then that's something going on inside Plex.

Delete the collection, empty trash, clean bundles, maybe optimize, then try again.

That’s not the same collection. He removed emojis. So if you are using the same config, the collection should have no emoji

By default, yes, the Alien collection is one of the TMDB collections that is included, however, you have overridden that.

OK, and the log above shows that Kometa is not putting the Alien movies into a collection named "Halloween Movies". It is only putting them in "Alien Collection" and "IMDB Top 250"

There is no collection mentioned in that log which contains 120 items.

Ok ran the same config on my secondary plex server that's never had the Halloween collection. Wound up with a different number (101) of movies but still has Aliens collection.

In this second case, though, nothing should need deleting since the alien movies should never get added to the collection in the first place.

Plex literally won't let me. Even if I do just go into one movie, remove the label and hit save, it's still there when I go back in. I'll try doing it via Kometa but I'm doubting that will work either because it's probably this Plex bug that @tribal seal mentioned.

Turns out I have the same issue if the label has an emoji, plex won’t remove the label. Kometa reports removing certain movies on each run but they don’t actually remove because of the emoji
