Hey all. I have my script setup, doing nearly everything just the way I want. However, I have sync_mode: set to append but movies are still being removed from collections that I've added manually after.
My config file is attached. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

If you are adding things to Kometa-controlled collections behind Kometa's back, that really isn't recommended.

Ok. Well Kometa doesn't add Batman Returns to the Batman collection. It also removes it on subsequent scans.
By why does sync_mode exists with an append option, defined as: Will only add items that are added from the source builder, but will not remove anything even if it is removed from the source builder., if it isn't supposed to be used that way?

Source builder, not target collection.
If you are building a collection from a Trakt list with 10 items in it, and tomorrow that Trakt list has 8 items in it, append mode won't remove the 2.

Probably the better tack would be to fix that at the source if possible.

It's just labeled as 'Batman'. It adds Batman, Batman Forever, and Batman & Robin, but skips Batman Returns. I've rescraped and running again.

if you're talking about the franchise collection for batman, then that sounds like possibly a matching issue in plex. because i run franchise and batman includes the 4 movies it's supposed to

i know Batman Begins is not part of that franchise, but i was just showing you there are several examples in there where movies are not properly matched, so they don't get picked up properly

Id fix match on batman returns the refresh metadata on it and rerun kometa
Sometimes plex doesnt match properly or misses a tmdb id for a movie and a fix match will solve that
Kometa uses the tmdb ids that plex provides to match things from plex to tmdb/imdb/whatever db
