Error?

Are you using the walkthrough guide?

  • Do not ask leading questions (i.e. "Does anyone have an issue with PMM?"), be precise with what it is you need support with.

  • If you have a problem, explain it as clearly as possible.

  • If you have already tried to resolve an issue, explain what you have tried to do so far and what the outcome was.

  • Assume that the person responding to you does not know what your setup involves, try to give detail of your setup (operating system, PMM branch and version, docker or local, etc.)

  • Try to avoid the X-Y Problem (https://xyproblem.info/) by clearly explaining the root issue you are facing, rather than asking about a solution that you have already landed on.

@normal basalt so where is it broken? Which step is failing?

normal basalt
#

@timid heron i have add a screenshot

timid heron
#

What step is this in the walkthrough?

normal basalt
timid heron
#

That's at the top of the walkthrough... I meant actual step in the details.

#

Where is your config.yml?

normal basalt
#

I have text you in private chat

timid heron
#

Why?

#

I don't need your config

#

I need to know where it is on your file system

#

If you want to share your config..... then redact it

vestal vortexBOT
#

You have been asked to provide your config file, which will allow us to support you further.

Please DO NOT share your config.yml file as is without redacting it. It contains information that you do not want the public to have, nor do we need it to troubleshoot your scenario in MOST cases.

We will use a regex parser to redact the file for you.

:one: Goto https://regex101.com/r/DMo1DQ/latest
:two: Copy the contents of your config.yml to the TEST STRING box in that page
:three: The results will be immediate and found in the SUBSTITUTION box below
:four: From the SUBSTITUTION box, select all, then copy and paste the redacted text into the channel where you want to share your config. (You will see (redacted) where confidential information was replaced)

Consider using Discord code blocks when sharing small parts of your config file. Check out !code for more info on code blocks

It's pointing right at the error:

YAML Error: mapping values are not allowed here |
| in "//config/config.yml", line 11, column 29

Compare what you have there with the example in the wiki.

Compare this, from your config:

      - pmm: flixpatrol
          template_variables:
          location: netherlands
          time_window: today

with this, from the wiki:

      - pmm: flixpatrol
        template_variables:
          location: united_states

Note the difference in indentation.
