Probably in the last week or 2 i've noticed that all the sudden collections below my delete items count of 1 were starting to be created again. Basically all of the Seperators that normally are not in my library started showing up. I deleted them manually in Plex before I preformed this run. Has a setting changed? I have minimum_items: 1 and also delete_below_minimum: true and like I said this happened out of nowhere, I didn't change any settings in my config.yml
#delete minimum collections not working for me anymore?

the only thing that got them to disappear for runs is by using the template_variable - use_separator: false
but I still do not want any collections created for just 1 movie.
I mean I don't want collection's with 0 movies. Because I'm fine if just 1 movie or show is in an HBO Max collection.
So setting minimum items to 1 should be fine. If the collection is created and then movies fall out of that collection making it drop to below the threshold, unless to tell pmm to delete, I think they will stay
There are multiple ways to delete collections using PMM.
:one: --delete-collections Run Command will delete ALL Collections in that library at the beginning of the run.
:two: delete_collections Library Operation Deletes collections based on a set of given attributes. The Collection must match all set attributes to be deleted.
:three: delete_not_scheduled Setting Detail will delete a collection that has a schedule defined and is not scheduled to run on this run.
:four: delete_below_minimum Setting Detail will delete any collection that no longer meets the minimum requirement.
But thats what I have it set to and it still creates collections with 0 movies
Specifically the "Based on..." "Ratings" etc. separators are all still showing and by default their 0
Are you talking about the separators as those 0-movie collections? They are always 0-item and are outside the collection minimum.
[Well, they're 0-item if you do not specify a placeholder]
Yes, I did not know they were outside that parameter, I only noticed them populating in the last couple weeks with the most recent updates. So best way to exclude them is the template variable use separator false?
Yes.
Alright I'll give that a try, weird how they just started showing up after months
That's the only way to exclude them [aside from the one that's a default of its own; charts I think]
ok
