I just saw in the logs:

| Spuk in Bly Manor | No TMDb ID for Guid: plex://show/5f63885e22da900042e6431c |
| No Audience Rating Found |
| No User Rating Found |
| No Item Edits |```

the english title is `The Haunting of Bly Manor`

the special with this show is, that it is kept together with `The Haunting of Hill House` as Season 1 and Season 2 (whch comes from tvdb: https://thetvdb.com/series/the-haunting#seasons)

tmdb has 2 separate shows from this. so what I did is to have two `.plexmatch` files in each season folder. within plex that matches pretty well...

but pmm tells me that there is no tmdb id with bly manor... but if I fetch the meta data from plex it contains the tmdb id ... which is the same as in the plexmatch file

is this a known behavior or am I missing something - any clue why this is not working as expected?

thanks.

PS.: I've attached the `.plexmatch` the log of the last run (I think this might not be required but anyways) and the metadata, xml containing the tmdb://109958 guid

Welcome @dull field!

Someone from <@&938443185347244033> will assist when they're available.

Including the meta.log from the beginning is a huge help, type !logs for more information.

This is probably one for @paper trout

#

I'm not sure what to suggest here, I don't think we've ever delved into plexmatch files

try renaming you cache and running again

dull field

as Carrot said there is only one cache file, so rename that and run again

I meant the one you asked about. config.cache. If your config file is named somethingelse.yml, then the cache will be named somethingelse.cache

thanks for the clarification

let us know if it works

dull field
#

sure - I just re-run with tv shows only once it is finished I'll post the results

#

that's kinda strange it is not working

when the cache is built it says:

| Unable to convert TMDb ID: 109958 to TVDb ID for "Spuk in Bly Manor" |

at that point there is the correct tmdb id

but during the operations it still says:

[2024-01-03 22:06:34,773] [tmdb.py:421] [INFO] | Spuk in Bly Manor | No TMDb ID for Guid: plex://show/5f63885e22da900042e6431c |

so this is alot of code change so dont expect a fix soon but the issue is that pmm gives each item either a tmdb id (for movies) or tvdb id (for shows). Then later it refers to each show by their tvdb id and loses association with the tmdb a little bit. A long long time ago i choose to make the primary for shows tvdb and its not gonna be easy for this change but ill look into it

Just curious if there has been any update on this? I hit on the exact same issue with these shows and was hoping it was still being looked at. Thanks!
