Thanks in advance. When running my pmm config, it executes fine, but it acts like I've scheduled overlays and other things to run on a schedule when I haven't. See picture from log. This in turn is not running overlays. The odd thing, is the log shows that it's running some overlay items, but not actually doing anything. I only have a couple collections to only run on Sundays but no main libraries, overlays, metadata, etc. set up on a schedule. I'm running in docker on the most recent build.
Looks to me like there's a bug there.
Gotcha...does my config look correct then?
Seems to be, but I don't use schedules.
I'd try changing the playlist schedule just to see if you can narrow down which one it thinks applies to everything.
Remove it? Change the day?
Oh, wait. Overlays can't be scheduled individually, so PMM might be applying that one schedule to all of them.
Right now you have three things scheduled for the same time, so there's no way to tell which schedule PMM is choosing since they are all Sunday. If you changed the playlist one to Monday as a test, you could get some visibility into which one it's applying.
Ok. I'll try that and report back.
in any case, you can't run one overlay once a week and the rest multiple times per week..
I don't think I have any overlays scheduled. Just collections. I read in the wiki you can't schedule individual ones.
You have mediastinger scheduled for sundays.
oh shoot...I wonder if that's what's causing it. I don't know why I put that there.
I didn't even look in overlays because I knew not to schedule one there.
Ok, so the overlay schedule disappeared after removing the media stinger schedule.
why does it have a value for metadata schedule still? The only one scheduled now is the universe collection
Also, I changed the playlist to monday for the next run
Not sure; may need someone who uses schedules to weigh in.
Ok, regardless of the metadata still showing in there. It ran everything correctly now.
i am trying to understand your question. you ask why it has a value for metadata schedule, but then say that universe collection is scheduled
PMM Default: universe not scheduled to run.....This is under my collection files for the universe default collection. I have it scheduled for Sundays. I have nothing in my config under metadata. So I was wondering why it says there is a scedule for metadata
*schedule
These lines may all be referring to universe
You could test that by putting a schedule on another one as a test.
My original error is solved though. The overlay problem. This was my fault for somehow including a schedule on the overlay even though I knew not too.
I commented the schedules on all the libraries and ran a test real quick. it disappeared. Do you think it just shows under metadata still since we used to put collections under metadata in the config before they changed to the metadata_files, collection_files thing
cool cool
So the issue was the word "Metadata", not the schedule showing up?
Looks like it
I see. I thought you were complaining that the schedule was there at all.
