Welcome @spiral sierra!
It looks like you have not yet completed #938455615741775902, this will allow us to help you quicker.
Someone from <@&938443185347244033> will assist when they're available.
Including the meta.log from the beginning is a huge help, type !logs for more information.
You can press the "Close Post" button above or type /close at any time to close this post.
Impossible to say anything without specifics of what you have done, what you expected, and what's actually happening.
Had you applied the BLU-RAY prior to making the change? Can you provide a log of this happening?
BDRemux is not a valid key in the defaults. Have you modified the file to add it?
I've just added as a template variable only .. srry idk what ya mean with apply the blu-ray or modify the file
You can't do what you trying to do with that method.
If you look at the wiki page for that overlay, you will see a list of the available keys:
https://metamanager.wiki/en/latest/defaults/overlays/video_format.html#supported-video-formats
If you want to change some things about how one of those is displayed:
libraries:
Movies:
overlay_path:
- pmm: video_format
template_variables:
text_remux: YO DUDE ITS REMUX
text_bluray: YO DUDE ITS BLURAY
text_web: YO DUDE ITS WEB
text_hdtv: YO DUDE ITS HDTV
text_dvd: YO DUDE ITS DVD
text_sdtv: YO DUDE ITS SDTV
But you can't just make up a random key.
If you want to create a new key to support a new format, you would have to make a copy of that default YAML file and add your new regex and so forth to that file.
I thought i could just add any key as a variable
How can the wiki be more clear? This is a sincere question. It explicitly says that you can only use those keys, but apparently that isn't clear. What should change?
If you misinterpreted it, others may as well, so if it can be clarified I'd like to do that. No shade. I am asking sincerely, not to poke fun.
okey doke
