I am interested in a few things, but mainly which is which in the image attached., if any? I want to re-gain my access to rating content, so my follow up question is, how do I clear the user ratings if at all possible?

Welcome @ocean pond!

Someone from <@&938443185347244033> will assist when they're available.

Including the meta.log from the beginning is a huge help, type !logs for more information.

or are these only for overlays, which I don't use anymore?

i just found this, https://metamanager.wiki/en/latest/home/guides/ratings.html so I assume the following. Is there a way to reset these to defaults? I currently have the folliowing in my config (although what is the default audience):

  mass_audience_rating_update: mdb_tomatoesaudience
  mass_user_rating_update: mdb_tmdb

you can set it to reset to put it back to what Plexs' default is

thanks, I just found that. the search on the website was a little wonky so it was like the 10th article 🙂

but what would mdb_tomatoaudience vs default be?

#

is there a reason?

A reason for what?

Plex has three ratings "boxes"; PMM provides 19 options for what you might want to put in those boxes.

If you are just going to set them to what Plex itself provides, sure, there is probably not a reason to do so, but maybe you want to use three different audience values, or update them more frequently than whatever Plex does, or something else.

Sorry, what I meant was what’s the difference between Plex rotten tomato and using mdb_tomatoaudience. Isn’t it the same thing? That’s all, just trying to understand if I should reset that one or if the mdb is providing something more than just the default Plex audience field.

and there should not be a diff

#

in terms of plex rotten versus pmm rotten

Ok thank you. Basically the only reason to use them (which is probably a good one though) would be if I want my ratings updated more frequently than what Plex does

Or if you want to use ratings that plex doesn't provide.

Yes, agree. I’m just specifically referring to using rotten tomato though that’s why I didn’t know if there was a real difference. Thank you!

i usually found that plex didn't always update ratings at the same frequency. so for me, pmm ensures that ratings are up to date every other day. LOL

Nothing else, thanks!
