Welcome @rare cove!

Someone from <@&938443185347244033> will assist when they're available.

Including the meta.log from the beginning is a huge help, type !logs for more information.

what show is this?

#

i am looking for the episode names in your meta.log and cannot find anything

#

and looking at your meta.log, nowhere in there do you reference using tmdb for ratings. Can you clarify please?

rare cove
#

This show is called Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey

#

oh wait

#

I think there is a problem.

#

There are two tv shows which are sequels

#

but in imdb they appear as different shows

#

so it is looking for season 2 episodes when it is actually another show

#

Like Sonarr thinks it is the same show but with two seasons

#

Two different ids

#

Is there any way to get the ratings?

urban ivy
#

All I know is that searching for Spacetime is not found in the logs you provided

#

i do see cosmos

#

and Cosmos Season 1 and Season 2

#

and no update was needed so the overlay did not apply to it

rare cove
#

Yeah, the problem is that for sonarr, this is the same tv show, but for imdb, they are two whole different things

#

So I guess it tries to get the second season for a show that in imdb has only one

echo kayak
#

There's no real way to resolve that

rare cove
#

oh

#

that's a shame

#

thanks for the answer!

echo kayak
#

You could ask TVDb to resolve it

#

by splitting the show in two

#

They may not want to do that though

rare cove
#

they probably won't listen haha

#

I am not the first one to come across this

echo kayak
#

You could potentially split the show in two on your filesystem and in Plex

#

the Plex Agent does have a separate entry for Possible Worlds

rare cove
#

oh

#

that seems interesting

#

so how do you suggest to do the show split?

#

Have two different folders for each show?

echo kayak
#

Yes

rare cove
#

Perfect! Will try that, thanks!

rare cove
#

Hey @echo kayak ! I tried your solution and it almost worked!

#

I could get the two shows to appear separately but I am getting the same imdb scores for both

#

Specifically this error:
Unable to convert TMDb ID: 237987 to TVDb ID for "Cosmos: Possible Worlds" |

rare cove
#

maybe you know something about this @urban ivy ?

#

Something odd as well: Both tv shows have the correct overall rating but the latest tv show episodes have the ratings from the other one (Cosmos 2014)

rare cove
#

I think there is something weird, plex shows this

urban ivy
#

Try doing a Fix Match in Plex maybe?

**Rec 02** - ๐Ÿ’ฌ **CONVERT ERROR**

๐Ÿ’ฌ CONVERT ERROR
Convert Error: No * ID Found for * ID.
These sorts of errors indicate that the thing can't be cross-referenced between sites. For example:

Convert Error: No TVDb ID Found for TMDb ID: 15733

In the above scenario, the TMDB record for The Two Mrs. Grenvilles ID 15733 didn't contain a TVDB ID. This could be because the record just hasn't been updated, or because The Two Mrs. Grenvilles isn't listed on TVDB.

The fix is for someone like you, perhaps to go to the relevant site and fill in the missing data.
For more information on handling these, [https://www.metamanager.wiki/en/latest/home/kb.html#warning]

Convert errors are displayed there and what you need to do

rare cove
#

I don't understand sorry

#

I see the errors but I don't see what I need to do

#

You mean what Luma said?

urban ivy
#

Yes

rare cove
#

got it

#

thanks!

rare cove
#

Well, @urban ivy I managed to display both seasons in plex

#

however I still cannot get the imdb ratings

urban ivy
#

What does the log say for that item?

rare cove
#

A lot of "No User Rating Found" errors

urban ivy
#

So I guess that you want to have PMM pull the rating for that item from the User rating? Is the error dealing with populating the user rating or reading from the user rating?

rare cove
#

I think the problem is reading

#

Actually, my episodes don't have a user rating

urban ivy
#

In that case I guess the issue is more related to updating the episode user rating. When the operations run to stuff the rating into the user rating, what happens? -op will do an operations only run.

rare cove
#

I am running that now

#

and will share the logs

#

here you have @urban ivy

urban ivy
#

Ok... so during the operation run, nothing got updated for season 2 of cosmos.

#

Can you do a -tr -op to increase the logging to the meta.log?

#

Basically, we are trying to get ratings from IMDb and stuff the episode ratings from IMDb into the user ratings section on Plex

#

This implies that IMDb for season 2 exists in IMDb.

#

Can you show me season 2 episode 1 from IMDb along with the rating on the IMDb page?

rare cove
#

The thing is that for whatever the reason

#

in imdb cosmos appears as two different tv shows

#

each with one season

#

instead of a single show with two seasons

urban ivy
#

Right so again... if pmm asks IMDb for cosmos and IMDb says, here is season 1, how will it ever get back season 2? PMM never asks IMDb for season 2 from IMDb.... and as you stated, PMM needs to actually ask for two separate shows. So in my opinion, until you have cosmos split into two shows, how would pmm know what to ask IMDb for?

#

Last thing you could try is a -lr instead of -tr for a log requests log

#

Before attaching that log, just go in there and redact your keys and token ms in case they are exposed. Search for your keys and replace with (redacted)

rare cove
#

I think the problem is that imdb has the show as two differents shows, and TVDB and TMDB have it as a single show with two seasons

#

So I don't know how to make it work

#

since imdb and those other two are different

#

like I managed to have them as two different shows, but I wasn't getting any metadata

#

It is a weird situation

#

I will try again to split them up and see what happens

urban ivy
#

If you want to pull data from IMDb and they have it as two shows, then I would keep it in Plex as two different shows.

#

The issue is that different sources out there on the internet are not consistent. Until they are consistent, I think you are trying to fix something but breaking something else

rare cove
#

I understand

#

This is my last try haha,

#

I split the tv show in two

#

and only the scores for the first season show up

#

I don't know the problem now, in imdb they are two different shows

#

This is the error I see: [2023-11-23 17:16:02,477] [convert.py:352] [INFO] | Mapping Error | plex://show/653945b30f922acf0e89e674 | Unable to convert TMDb ID: 237987 to TVDb ID for "Cosmos: Possible Worlds" |

#

Also, in TVDb the tv show is a single show with two seasons, whereas in TMDb they are two different shows

urban ivy
#

I cannot offer more help as this has reached my limit in terms of knowledge. Maybe someone else has a workaround or solution.

rare cove
#

no problem

#

I think I will live with this haha

#

more trouble than benefit
